We get a number of questions relating to the venue for different events all the time, so in an effort to help you before you attend, we have listed some of them here for you to peruse before the event to make your visit as stress-free as possible!

WHAT TIME DOES THE EVENT OPEN?

Comic Con Northern Ireland opens at the same time over the course of the weekend this time is as follows:

Saturday Early Entry: 9.00am

Saturday Standard Entry: 11.00am

Saturday Closing: 6.00pm

Sunday Early Entry: 9.00am

Sunday Standard Entry: 11.00am

Sunday Closing: 6.00pm

 

DO YOU HAVE CAR PARKING? 

The Eikon has over 4,000 free car parking spaces available, including designated parking areas for blue badge holders on a first-come, first-served basis.

DO YOU HAVE A CASH MACHINE?

There is an ATM available at Eikon Exhibition Centre during event opening hours, however, we still strongly advise that you make sure you bring cash with you.

​

We also have card terminals at each guest's table as well as in the photo areas where you can purchase photo ops, autographs, selfies, and COA certificates.  

​

Finally, it is worth noting that the vast majority of traders accept cards as well as cash, but always check with the trader before purchasing an item.

DO YOU ACCEPT EURO PAYMENTS?

The only currency that is accepted at the Comic Con is Pound Sterling. No Euros will be accepted.

DO YOU HAVE WI-FI?

Attendees can have 15 minutes FREE browsing in the Cafe. Exhibitors can purchase Wi-Fi codes from the Venue Managers Office.

DOES THE VENUE OFFER DISABLED ACCESS?

The Eikon Exhibition Centre endeavours to make the venue as fully accessible as possible for all visitors. They have a number of dedicated accessible car parking spaces available on a first come, first served basis. There are disabled toilets at the venue. The events team can provide you with a list of local suppliers if you require a wheelchair for your visit to the venue. WHAT FOOD AND DRINK OPTIONS DO YOU OFFER?

Eikon Exhibition Centre has a large cafe area, provided by their catering franchisee Vanilla Black Catering.

DO YOU HAVE ACCOMMODATION NEARBY?

From luxury hotels to simple rooms to please, you’ll find a huge variety right on the doorstep.

 

WHAT DO I DO IF I NEED FIRST AID?

There are always trained first aid staff available at each event during opening hours. If you require medical attention, just ask the nearest member of staff for immediate assistance. The First Aid office is located at the front of the Eikon, beside the Venue Managers office.

 

DO YOU HAVE BABY CHANGING FACILITIES?

There are baby changing facilities in selected toilets, please ask a member of staff for the nearest one during your visit.

 

CAN I SMOKE AT THE VENUE?

The Eikon has a strict no smoking policy, anyone found smoking anywhere within the venue will be requested to leave without a refund. The use of electronic cigarettes is also strictly prohibited in the venue and anyone caught using one will again be asked to leave the premises.
